Water is considered an essential nutrient because the body cannot produce enough water itself, by metabolism of food, to fulfil its need. When the quantity or quality of water is inadequate, health problems result, most notably dehydration and diarrhoea. But people do not consider this as a nutrient as it is easily available in nature (Eslami, 2018). People think the water is only necessary for the purpose of meeting our thirst but we never know water is one of the essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals etc. We can live many days without vitamin and minerals but we cannot live a moment without water. Like oxygen, it is very much important in our life.
